    Not yet back to its best, but huge potential in terms of wildlife viewing, guiding and activities. Key regions include Hwange, Lake Kariba, Matobo Hills and Mana Pools, whilst Victoria Falls is a world famous attraction.

    The ‘World in One Country’ offering everything from wine-tasting to whale-watching and big game safaris. Beautiful scenery, great restaurants and wonderful hospitality typify this sophisticated corner of Africa.

  • Elephants in the Okavango Delta, Botswana

    Botswana

    A magnificent safari destination offering wilderness, wildlife, exclusivity and a wide range of activities. Key areas include the Okavango Delta, Linyanti, Chobe, Makgadikgadi Pans and Kalahari Desert.

  • Namibia desert scene

    Namibia

    Spectacular desert scenery where soaring sand dunes, rocky mountains and gravel plains meet the cold Atlantic Ocean. Key areas include the Namib Desert, Etosha, Damaraland and the Skeleton Coast.

  • Likoma Island, Malawi

    Malawi

    Known as the ‘warm heart of Africa’ due to its relaxed atmosphere and friendly peoples, with Lake Malawi the dominant feature in a country known for its scenery, activities and culture, rather than big game.

  • Lower Zambezi, Zambia

    Zambia

    A slightly adventurous but incredibly beautiful safari destination that is home to Victoria Falls and the Zambezi River. Incredible walking safaris, great guiding and old-fashioned hospitality on safari.

  • Lioness and cub, Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania

    Tanzania

    A huge country with many awesome attractions including the Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti, Mount Kilimanjaro and Zanzibar. The Serengeti plays host to the wildebeest migration for most of the year.

  • Virunga Volcanoes silverback, Rwanda

    Rwanda

    The easiest and most accessible country in Africa to view mountain gorillas, in the Virunga Volcanoes National Park. Various other species of primates can also be seen, including chimps.

  • Masai Warrior, Kenya

    Kenya

    A fantastic all round destination offering incredible game-viewing, remote wilderness, culture, mountains, varied activities and beach relaxation. The Masai Mara is home to the wildebeest migration from July to October.

  • Kibale Forest chimps, Uganda

    Uganda

    Wonderful scenery, culture, gorillas, chimps and birds are the key reasons to visit Uganda, though Murchison Falls, the Ruwenzori ‘Mountains of the Moon’ and some good general game-viewing are further attractions.

  • La Digue Island, Seychelles

    The Seychelles

    A beautiful group of tropical islands in the heart of the Indian Ocean. The larger ‘granitic’ islands are stunning whilst the outer ‘coral’ islands offer wonderful exclusivity and amazing scuba diving and sport fishing.

  • Saint Geran, Mauritius

    Mauritius

    A fairly commercial island in the Indian Ocean which offers resort-style beach holidays. A number of hotels are very sophisticated offering first class service, beautiful beaches and wide-ranging facilities.
