Dear Rob, as you know from my earlier note the holiday was an outstanding success and fulfilled all the hopes of our wide age range. We felt the amount of time at each place was just right (except for Theo who howled for two hours when it was time to leave Jembisa) and we all enjoyed the contrasts - warm embrace of Jembisa, stark exciting Mashatu, ritzy Cape Town, side trip back to Europe at Franschhoek and ending on a high with strong winds and a heaving sea full of whales at Hermanus. You worked it out so we didn't lose too much time in travelling and what we did by road gave us the chance to glimpse the real world - which we needed to put the luxury into context. We really appreciated how much you put into two weeks. Thank you for taking so much trouble to interpret our wishes and if the piggy bank miraclulously replenishes itself we shall be back!Carol and family travelled to South Africa and the Tuli Block in south-eastern Botswana

Dear Rob, our recent holiday to Zambia, Botswana and Namibia certainly lived up to expectations - it is fair to say that we do not think it could have been bettered and much of this is down to how well you interpreted our requirements and the large amount of time you spent refining these with us. The game/bird viewing was excellent and we were delighted with the range and variety of different experiences we encountered. Mary, Thank you for all of you help in putting the Botswana portion of our trip together. It was a great trip - our best ever. Chobe Game Lodge gave us a dedicated guide both days. Chitabe is a gorgeous lodge with a great staff. We had a great guide. Little Vumbura is amazing also with a great staff. Our guide "K" is world class. Dear Rob, I know you have already heard from other family members that we had a truly memorable holiday. Everyone was well, happy and delighted throughout. We constantly commented on how everything felt "just right", each place we stayed fitted our needs perfectly and we loved the contrasting styles. The amount of travelling was easily manageable and in fact we were glad of longish road journeys in order to catch a glimpse of the real world beyond the luxuries that we enjoyed. We had a really great holiday. A particular highlight was our guide from Letaka Safaris (Nkosi). He was simply amazing and I would highly recommend him to anyone- we saw loads of lions, leopards, wild dogs, impala, kudu, zebra, elephants, giraffes, monkeys, buffalo and many more things. Just a brief note to let you know that we had a fabulous time in Botswana. Our experience matched what we wanted from the trip and we really felt that you had understood what we were looking for - and more importantly what we didn't want. We did lots of miles in the short time we were there and you definatley met our expectation that the journey had to be part of the experience! For our first visit we liked the mix of drives, walking, boats and mokoro. It means we can tailor a future trip more specifically now we have a better feel for the areas. Food and hospitality throughout could not be faulted. All in all we were very satisified with the trip and had a fabulous experience. Chris & I thought the itinerary worked well with the camps, the order in which we stayed at them, and the number of nights. We thought you'd translated our tastes and requests into an excellent itinerary. Rob, we just wanted to let you know that we had such a wonderful and exciting time in S Africa, Botswana. We enjoyed the camps we stayed at, each offering a different perspective of Africa. We can't sneeze at 6 leopard sitings, cheetahs, lions, giraffe's mating and the list goes on and on and on. Nottens and Shinde were especially special. Chase, at Nottens is an amazing person. So knowledgable and you could tell that he enjoys his life as it is in his part of the world. Our accomodations were EXCELLENT!.....And the food! Oh my! SO DELICIOUS! We shall never forget such a wonderful experience and we both thank you so much for taking care of every detail. Having now completed our first Botswana safari we appreciate more fully how thoughtfully you had put the itinerary together. This was also commented on very favourably by other travellers we met and talked to and who wanted to know who had set up our safari. Very many thanks for that. Everyone we met in Botswana and Namibia was welcoming, pleasant and helpful. We cannot remember such universal warmth on any previous trip we have made. Thanks Bill and staff for giving us such a great holiday. Everything worked extremely well as ever. The elephant experience (grey matters) was surreal, but Doug and his wife are so knowledgeable and very interesting the morning flew by too quickly.
