Mombo is located on the western edge of the Moremi GR in the Okavango, an area synonymous with excellent game-viewing.

Covering 15000 hectares and seven distinct ecosystems, the reserve was proclaimed in 1990 and has been a model of eco-development, a successful partnership of private enterprise with the local people.

 Madagascar: Berenty Private Reserve, near Fort Dauphin

Ring-tailed lemurs and the dancing sifakas are synonymous with Madagascars fauna and the Berenty Private Reserve on the southern end of the island is the ideal place to view them.
The small reserve covers just 250 hectares in the three sections of gallery, riverine or spiny forest. 85 species of birds, 118 tree species, fruit bats and 4 species of lemur are the main attraction.
Accommodation (for a maximum of 65 guests) is in individual thatched chalets and rooms in blocks, scattered around the well kept, orderly gardens and paths. Each room is adequately furnished and has a fan and en suite facilities. The en suite facilities consist of a hand shower, vanity and loo. There is a bar and open lounge area where breakfast is served and the main dining room.
